As a licensee to manufacture and distribute the HANS® device, SCHROTH continues activities to further develop the HANS® device through extensive HANS® testing.

Schroth has developed the patented SlipStop system which inhibits the webbing from sliding off the HANS surface. The new HANS surface is designed to work with standard racing harnesses as well as the newly developed SCHROTH SlipStop harness range. This new SlipStop technology allows you to tighten the shoulder belts easier and faster than any other system available.

All of Schroth’s Head Restraints/HANS devices are tested and approved to FIA standards.
Schroth offers three different options for the HANS device. 20° Model is suited for an upright seating position (all salon/sports cars). 30° Model is suited to a semi-reclined racing seat (Formula Cars/Single Seaters) and 40° Model is suited to a reclined racing seat (F1, historic single seaters). Schroth also provides replacement shoulder pads and helmet clips, which are FIA approved.
